It’s strange how the death of someone you don’t know can affect you. James Brown, Biggie, Gil Scott, J. Dilla, Jam Master Jay and now MCA. All of the mentioned artists meant a lot to me. Their music has helped shape my life, and I think the world is far worse without them.
I know a few things: Yauch’s suffering is over, and now it’s time for his family & friends to heal. No Sleep Till Brooklyn indeed.
